Northern Michigan Antique Flywheelers Festival

July 28-31, 2011

The last weekend of July each summer brings a fun festival to Northern Michigan: the Northern Michigan Flywheelers show in Walloon Lake. Featuring engines, a craft show, live entertainment, a flea market, and great food, the festival is packed with activities.

The Engine Show takes place daily from 8am-6pm. Live entertainment is a nightly event from 7-9pm. The daily Tractor Parade at 2pm each day is great fun for children to watch.

In the craft tent are exhibits such as painting, knitting, cement work, and woodworking. The flea market runs daily throughout the festival.

Other exhibits include the shingle mill, blacksmith shop, and saw mill. The festival ends on Sunday with the Parade of Power.
